Greeneville City Schools Pre-K program is still accepting applications for 4-year old income eligible children. Three-year old children are accepted on a limited basis. There are numerous benefits for children who participate in Pre-K. “Our goal is to provide students with an opportunity to develop skills to promote success in Kindergarten and beyond,” said Pre-K Supervisor Dr. Tammie Feathers. Services include educational, medical, dental, nutritional, mental health, and transportation services.

The Greeneville City School System operates five preschool classes in partnership with Head Start.  Classes are located at EastView Elementary, Hal Henard Elementary, Highland Elementary, Tusculum View Elementary and the Greene Technology Center. Eligibility for the program is determined by federal and state program requirements.  Out-of-zone requests can only be considered at Highland Elementary.  Tuition requests cannot be accepted.
