GHS Senior Class Serves Through "Senior Legacy" Project

The graduating seniors of Greeneville High School, Class of 2011, planned a "Senior Legacy" service project for the entire class to go to Camp Creek or Horse Creek to aid in the clean up effort from the recent tornado outbreak.  The class worked with the office of emergency management to plan the project. The school provided buses and bag lunches to support them.

In conjunction with this project, the Class of 2011 issued a challenge to upcoming graduating classes to do a positive community service as their legacy rather than the usual "senior prank."

In addition, the class members set a goal of donating at least $1,000 to the Greene Co. Red Cross for disaster relief through additional fundraising efforts.
