I am currently entering my 16th year of teaching math here at Greeneville
High School.  Through the years, I hope to have helped students to enjoy the
many different aspects of math and their uses.  During my time in the school
system, I have been involved in many extracurricular activities and have
enjoyed them all.  I am married to Debbie Painter, and we have 2 wonderful
children, Tracy (11) and David (8).

During all of my classes, I strive to make math enjoyable and fascinating. I  try to make the classes non threatening.   

We try to understand not only the  how, but also the why. I try to involve students as much as possible. We  will also 

strive to make the Freshman year a stepping stone for a positive  high school career.
