Appreciation Center

So often we don't take the time to let people know what they mean to us or to thank them even for the little things they do. Now you have the chance to tell someone that you appreciated something he or she did.

To send a note of thanks to a Greeneville High School administrator, faculty or staff member, student, or parent, complete the form below.  These messages will be shared with the recipients.  The recipients will also be recognized on the GHS news.

Kathy May

So thankful for Kathy May and the exceptional work she does with our Chorus students!
All My Former Students

Thank you for making my days at GMS worth it! I am proud to have been part of your lives. You have given me so many lasting memories, and although I don't see you everyday anymore, know you are always in my thoughts. Have a fantastic week!

Mrs. Moorman

Mr. Fraley and GHS Students:

Just want to thank you for all the support given to the girls' soccer team state champions. The great send-off, the coach bus, meals, media coverage, fan bus, and welcome home were extra special. It was inspiring to the girls to have such loyal fans cheering them on all through the tournament. A dream come true!! Great representation on all sides for our school. Much appreciated.

Proud Soccer Parent

Thank you, Kathy May and Matthew Brickey, for giving tirelessly of your time, talent, and love to our chorus children.  You are making a different musically - and beyond!  I appreciate you!  Tina Chudina

Thanks so much to the administration, custodial, and cafeteria staff for helping to make our Fun Day a success. Special thanks to Ms. Holly Ward, Ms. Margaret Holladay, and the GHS student council for their extremely hard work. This wouldn't have happened without you! We appreciate the celebration you've prepared for the students.

Ms. Creutzinger, Ms. Bible, and Ms. House

I would like to Thank Mrs. Williams for all of the hard work and dedication that she has put into these children's lives, my child Steven Johnson especially. I have to say that I believe that because of your dedication he has truly shined, I believe that you gave him something to live for. I wish every teacher were like you with the love and dedication you have for these kids, without it these kids would have nothing. I just wanted to tell you how wonderful of a person that you are, and to Thank You for that.

Sheila Johnson

Mrs. Babb:

Shocking and exceptional! Those are the words to describe Greeneville High's Mrs. Babb. I was looking for a yearbook and while many folks would not have responded to my request for information, Mrs. Babb was kind enough to reach out and help. If this fine educator would go out of the way for a complete stranger, I can just imagine how she must give of herself for her students. The school district should be honored to have a lady of Mrs Babb's caliber.

Hey Greene Devils, I really appreciate the showing of Devil Pride that you are making every Friday night in Burley Stadium! Your creativity and contagious spirit makes it a tough place for opposing teams to come and perform well. Keep up the good work, Cookeville needs to see you soon!

Mr. Fraley

Dr. Stroud:

Good morning Dr. Stroud, I just wanted to say thank you. My daughter (Sarah) is currently a sophomore at GHS. She loves GHS and I believe you have played a huge role in her success and joy. Your leadership and heart's desire to see all students succeed spills over into the community as a whole. You are not just admired by your staff and students but myself as many others within Greeneville and Greene County admire you and are very thankful for you. Keep up the great work. We will miss you as our principal but we are also very excited to have you as our leader for the entire school system. May God richly bless you. You live the acronym J.O.Y. (Jesus first, Others second, yourself third). Thank you.

Melody Johnson and Sandra Fox

I was on a conference call with four people from Grade Results, a program we use at GHS. They all commented on how hard Mrs. Johson and Mrs. Fox work to support their students and ensure their success. The Grade Results team also said GHS and the students are extremely lucky to have two teachers who are so dedicated and involved with their students work. I totally agree.

Jamie House

Greeneville High School,

Today, I received a most delightful surprise, a singing valentine sent to me by a very dear friend. The singing valentine was a group of female GHS chorus members. Their performance was awesome! Everyone in my office listened appreciatively and in awe as we admired these talented young singers and applauded loudly when my singing valentine concluded! Greeneville High School is such a remarkable school from its excellent array of academic classes including challenging and rigorous AP classes, to its award and state winning sports teams, to its prestigious clubs and organizations including Scholars Bowl, Science Bowl, and the grounded Future Christian Athletes, to its award winning band and chorus, and to its ever-evolving technology. Greeneville High School has it all! Our students and we parents are privileged to have such a dedicated and driven administrative staff with foresight and focus and vested concentration of Greeneville High School's growth and development, an extraordinary teaching staff that encourages, challenges and stimulates as they help prepare our tomorrow's leaders, and a wonderful group of talented teaching associates. These groups of talented and creative individuals make the Greeneville High School educational team. I am proud of our high school, its administrative staff, its teaching staff, its affiliated educational staff, and of its students!

Mrs. May and Mrs. Brimer,

Thank you both for all you do for our kids to make them the best they can be. Your tireless efforts have not only brought out their best in music and voice but have also prepared them for so many areas in their life. I am amazed at how well each performance and activity has gone. The students are well behaved and take pride in their accomplishments. It is an honor to mention that my child sings in the GHS Chorale because no matter what event you are at these students are well known for their guidance under Mrs. May. I appreciate you both. God bless.
