Bio My name is Kim Francis and I am in my 17th year of teaching and my 7th year at GHS. I teach mostly US History and Psychology but I have taught nearly every subject within the Social Studies. I sponsor the Scholar's Bowl and Round Robin teams at GHS. I grew up in middle TN but fell in love with Northeast TN during a summer in high school spent at the Governor's School for TN Heritage. I attended Tusculum College where I met my husband Kenneth. We live here in Greene County with our son Keegan and our dog Kasey. I enjoy reading, movies, cooking, travel and the outdoors.
Earl Earl the Eagle is our class mascot. He is a stars and stripes patterned eagle who enjoys travel and hanging out in my classroom. He can often be found admiring student work or encouraging students in various classroom activities.
