 About the Teacher
 
Mrs. Meredith Stevans has been teaching secondary math since 2011, and she joined the GHS faculty in 2018.  She is a native of Mountain City, Tennessee.  Mrs. Stevans attended the College of William and Mary as a Niswonger Foundation Scholar, majoring in math and English.  She then earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from American University in Washington, DC as a Math for America fellow.  After starting her career as a middle school math teacher in DC Public Schools, she taught Algebra I and Geometry for three years at Morristown East High School.   She and her husband, Mark, live in Greeneville with their dog, Lady Bird.  Mrs. Stevans is excited to work with the staff, students, and parents of GHS as an Algebra I and Geometry teacher.
