GCS home meal delivery program scheduled to end, final deliveries Nov. 12

Greeneville City Schools has served students with meal delivery since March.  The demand has steadily declined in recent weeks.  Currently, the district is delivering meals to a small number of homes.  Therefore, a decision has been made to discontinue our meal delivery program to homes.

The final meal delivery to homes will take place on Thursday, November 12.

The district will continue to have meal distribution/pickup available at Greeneville High School and Hal Henard Elementary. District leaders ask that those receiving delivery fill out a new survey on the district’s website to indicate where they plan to pick up meals from GHS or Hal Henard Elementary.

Those pickups begin the week of November 16.
