Prior to Greeneville City Schools, Sanders facilitated learning at Jonesborough Elementary School as a teacher and transitioned to an administrator at David Crockett High School during the 2017-2018 school year. She has a Bachelor of Science in Education in Human Development and Learning (Pre-K-6) from Milligan College, a Master of Science in Special Education (K-12) from Western Governors University, and an Educational Specialist in Instruction and Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. Currently, she is finishing her dissertation to attain a Doctor of Education from Milligan University.
Sanders is a lifelong resident of East Tennessee, and a parent to three young adults: Brooke (Age 23), Jackson (Age 20), and Valerie (Age 19).
“I am ecstatic and honored to join the Greeneville High School team,” Sanders said. “The expectation for excellence and community atmosphere within Greeneville High School is legendary. I look forward to collaborating with students, staff, and families of the Greeneville community to leverage these high expectations.”
