Graduated from South Greene High School in 1986  

Graduated with a B.S. in Physical Education from East Tennessee State University in 1991

1992 - 93  Physical Education Teacher @ Highland Elementary School

1993 - 95  7th grade math teacher @ Greeneville Middle School

1995 - Present  Math Teacher @ Greeneville High School

I am currently entering my 29th year of teaching in the Greeneville City School System.

Through the years, I hope to have helped students to enjoy the 
many different aspects of math and their uses.  During my time in the school 
system, I have been involved in many extracurricular activities and have 
enjoyed them all.  I am married to Debbie Painter, and we have 2 wonderful 
children, Tracy (22) and David (19).

During all of my classes, I strive to make math enjoyable and fascinating. I try to make the classes non threatening. We try to understand not only the how, but also the why. I try to involve students as much as possible. We will also strive to make their high school years fun and memorable.
