Front Walk
Dear Greene Devil Families,
Please be advised that demolition and construction of the sidewalks in front of the Greeneville High School main entrance will begin on Monday, April 20, 2025. This work is necessary due to identified issues with the concrete in front of the main entrance. Addressing these concerns now will ensure the safety, accessibility, and long-term durability of the front sidewalk.
During this time:
Access to the front entrance will remain available via the side stairs and ramps. The main front steps will be inaccessible.
If you plan to take graduation photos, please do so prior to this date, or be prepared to wait until construction is complete.
To minimize disruption to the instructional day, any loud construction work will occur after 2:00 PM and will not interfere with upcoming End-of-Course (EOC) testing.
Bus transportation adjustments may occur in the afternoon. Buses that typically travel in front of the school may be rerouted to the NPAC entrance for student pick-up. Bus routes serving the cafeteria area will remain unchanged. School staff will be present to assist students and ensure a safe and efficient transition during this time.
Buses for after-school tutoring and 21st Century programs will be picked up at the Attendance Office.
